Frequently asked questions

Find answers to frequently asked questions about lash extensions, lash lifts, UV lash extensions, and our relaxing facials at EMÉA Lash & Brow Studio. We're here to provide you with all the information you need.

Can I do lash lifting during pregnancy?

Yes — lash lifting is generally safe during pregnancy because the product does not touch the skin. However, due to hormonal changes, results may vary slightly. If you’re unsure, talk to your doctor and let me know before the appointment so I can adjust the procedure if needed.

What technique do you use for eyebrow shaping?

I use a custom brow mapping method to find your natural brow shape, then I shape using tweezers and finish with precise trimming. If needed, I also tint or style the brows for a clean, defined look that still feels natural to your face.

Is the facial a cosmetology treatment?

No — the facial I offer is more of a relaxing, skin-nourishing treatment, not a medical or dermatological procedure. It includes gentle cleansing, massage, and products selected for your skin type. The focus is on glow, hydration, and relaxation, not clinical correction.

How do I know if I’m allergic to the lash glue?

If you’ve never had lash extensions before, we can do a patch test. This means applying just a few lashes and waiting 24 hours to see how your eyes react. Allergies are not common, but if you’ve had irritation or sensitivity in the past, it’s a good idea to tell me so I can choose the gentlest option for you.

What are UV lash extensions?

UV lash extensions are applied using a special lash adhesive, TPO free that cures instantly under a small UV light. This makes the result more resistant to humidity, tears, sweat and daily routine. They look and feel like classic or volume lash extensions, just with better retention.

Are UV lash extensions dangerous for the eyes because of the UV lamp?

No — the UV lamps used in lash applications are very low intensity and directed only at the lash line, not the eyes. Your eyes stay closed the entire time, and we protect them carefully. It’s safe when performed by a trained technician.

How long do lash extensions last?

Lash extensions typically last 3 to 4 weeks, depending on your natural lash cycle and aftercare. Most clients return for a refill around 2–3 weeks to keep the look full.

How often can I do a lash lift?

You can repeat a lash lift every 6 to 8 weeks, depending on your lash growth. It’s important to let the natural lashes recover and grow before the next treatment
